VOLUNTEER ROLES AVAILABLE AT THE ADELAIDE HILLS NRC

There are a variety of tasks and skills required at the NRC to improve and build on the services that we offer to the community. 

INTERACTIVE STATIC DISPLAY DESIGNER(S)      2 hrs + per week

Creative and inquisitive people to research and create static displays on a variety of environmental based topics, to be used in the NRC or for specific events eg Sustainability Fair

Working  with the Coordinator, your time commitment will vary depending on the project. Stimulate our minds, raise environmental awareness and share information effectively with creative displays.

EVENT ORGANISERS     4 hrs per week

One or two 'go to' people are needed to assist the Coordinator with organising workshops and seminars. This includes booking speakers, writing promotion material and advertising, also assisting with event management on the night. 

Good communication and organisation skills are essential. This position would suit someone who enjoys organising events, finding new speakers and is able to volunteer in the evenings or on weekends when necessary.

WEBSITE/FACEBOOK UPDATE  4 hrs per month

The AHNRC web site and Facebook need regular updates. We are looking for someone with a creative, fresh outlook with excellent communication skills. This would suit tertiary students looking for work experience.
