THE ADELAIDE HILLS NATURAL RESOURCE CENTRE (AHNRC) is a not-for-profit volunteer based environmental information hub that promotes environmental awareness and sustainable land management practices. The AHNRC aims to encourage a greater appreciation of our natural environment.

 

Staffed by a Coordinator and volunteers, the AHNRC provides a diverse range of services and information resources for landholders, local residents, community groups, hikers and students.

 

These services include:

  • up to date natural resource management information
  • community workshops, education days and seminars
  • Equipment and resources for community environmental groups
  • Volunteer projects
  • Referral services to contractors and technical advisors
